Christway College, Gymnasium

Construction of free-standing new gymnasium building consisting of two levels with the ground floor cut into the existing landscape.  When complete it will have sports courts, dance / drama space and multiple classrooms including gym, science labs, graphics, art, visual art and collaboration spaces.  This project is a combination of concrete and steel structure, with brick, light weight / metal cladding and windows.  Some of the challenges we might face are coordination of services to the existing school and the complexities around the ground floor basement works.  The main part of the building is the sports courts where multiple sports can be played and includes a complex floor system, score board and sports equipment.
