This City of Greater Geelong contract has specialty for anti vandalism and low maintenance. The construction materials used were steel portal frame clad with light weight ‘Ultra panel’ developed by Selkirk.

Design emphases were placed on high windows, external lighting and environmental use of rain water for sewerage and mechanical services. Internally Hoop Pine veneered ceilings and Tasmanian Oak floor enhanced the main hall warmness rather than a cold facility. A wrought iron fence designed by a Bauhaus creator was accidentally discovered and rescued by Magellan staff.
